Saturday Practice
Saturday -
Gates open at 10am and if you arrive early please stay in your car as it is a residential area and do not try and set up until after 10. It is our set-up time before then. Controlled Practice will start at 11.00am in heat order (Heats and results will be available online via Rc-Results) - 8 rounds on Saturday at 51 minutes a round, cars to be put down by the 180 in front of Race Control and driven carefully to the red line, so be aware of other cars on the track and no practice/installation laps. Gate will be locked at 6.30pm
Sunday Race Day
Sunday -
Gates open at 7am and if you arrive early please stay in your car as it is a residential area.
Open practice for those who didn't attend Saturday practice from 7.30 to 8am.
One round of practice in heat order starts at 8.00am - 5 minute heats, cars to be set on the track in the put down area and driven carefully to the red line, so be aware of other cars on the track and no practice/installation laps. Drivers briefing at 9.00am in the skatepark. First heat on the line at 9.25am. The usual Four rounds of Round-by-Round Qualifying (best 2 to count) and two Finals for all
Catering - We will have some bottles of water in race control. There are some take-aways nearby for those who are camping.
Camping- Is available for Saturday night free of charge and the toilet block with be on a combination lock overnight. The gate will be locked overnight. As it is going to be warm then the treeline on the left of the map should give a bit of shield from the sun.
Other items-
On PT's, the three wire RC4 transponders will not work with our decoder, The put down area for your cars is at the 180 degree corner parallel to the straight in front of race control by Marshal Point one (The stool). There are no practice laps and please drive to the line carefully as there will be others putting down their cars and going to/from marshal points When the race is over the pull-off area is the yellow area behind Marshal Point 1 and wait until the race is called over before moving from your spot on the rostrum.
No parking on the basketball court or behind it. The compressor is back in service this year. Remember you are in a public park, so there are some other rules that apply. And yes, we are within the ULEZ zone.
